Material: textile flowers, leaves, grasses, and small decorative elements. The headband is made from textile, artificial and preserved (stabilized) materials.

β₯ Headband base:
- Frida headbands are crafted on a sturdy plastic band with comb teeth, which we found, through testing multiple variants, to be the most reliable.
- The headband holds firmly on the head, even with heavy decoration
- The comb teeth ensure stability and are not felt while wearing
- Even if one comb tooth occasionally breaks (which happens extremely rarely), there are enough others so that wearing it is not affected
β₯ Decoration on the sides:
- The sides are intentionally left somewhat loose so that you have room for braids or other hairstyle elements.
- On loose hair, the headband appears higher
- In braided hairstyles, it creates the iconic Frida look

- If your hair isnβt long enough, we recommend buying inexpensive strands of kanekalon β weβll be happy to advise you on where and how to pick them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the headband reversible?
Originally we intended to make reversible Frida headbands. However, because of the combs (teeth) that hold the hair in one direction, that is somewhat limited. You can still choose which decorated side to show depending on your hairstyle or makeup.
What if a comb tooth breaks?
Donβt worry β there are plenty of them, so neither functionality nor comfort is diminished.
Is it comfortable to wear?
Yes β the headband is designed to be stable but also comfortable to wear during longer events.
