🔎 TECHNICAL INFO

👉 Headband base: Our Frida headbands are made on a sturdy plastic headband with combs, which we found to be the best option after testing several variations.
• the headband holds firmly on the head, even with larger decorations
• the combs ensure stability and you don’t feel them while wearing
• even if one comb breaks over time (which happens only rarely), there are plenty of others, so it doesn’t affect wearability

👉 Decoration on the sides: We intentionally leave the sides looser to give you space for braids or other hairstyles.
• in loose hair, the headband appears higher
• with braids, it creates the iconic Frida look

👉 Tip for short hair: If your hair isn’t long enough, we recommend getting affordable kanekalon strands – we’ll be happy to advise you where and how to choose them.

💬 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the headband reversible?
Originally, we wanted to make reversible Frida headbands. However, due to the combs that hold the hair in one direction, this is limited. Still, you can choose the decorated side depending on the hairstyle or makeup you plan.

What if a comb breaks?
Don’t worry – there are plenty of them, so neither functionality nor comfort will be reduced.

Is it comfortable to wear?
Yes – the headband is designed to be stable, yet pleasant to wear even during long events.

When stored in dry and dark place, our products last 10-15 years.
