Headband Base

• Crafted on a sturdy plastic band with comb teeth (tested as most reliable)
• Holds firmly on the head, even with heavy decoration
• Comb teeth ensure stability and aren't felt while wearing
• Even if one tooth breaks (extremely rare), functionality isn't affected

Decoration on the Sides

• Sides are intentionally left somewhat loose for braids or other hairstyle elements
• On loose hair, the headband appears higher
• In braided hairstyles, it creates the iconic Frida look

Tip for Short Hair

If your hair isn't long enough, we recommend buying inexpensive strands of kanekalon, we'll be happy to advise you on where and how to pick them.

Originally we intended to make reversible Frida headbands. However, because of the combs that hold hair in one direction, that is somewhat limited. You can still choose which decorated side to show depending on your hairstyle or makeup.

What if a comb tooth breaks?

Don't worry, there are plenty of them, so neither functionality nor comfort is diminished.

Is it comfortable to wear?

Yes, the headband is designed to be stable but also comfortable to wear during longer events like weddings and festivals.
